Tired of spreading out plastic and card board too contain your oil and shavings? Tired of spending hours cleaning up? Tired of rain and snow filling up your oil pot? Ever spilled your oil pot in the bed of your truck or on the job site? If you answered yes to any of the above, then this is for you! The Oil and Shavings Containment System ( O.S.C.S. ) is a newly designed product to replace the old oil pot that is so messy. It's all aluminum smooth construction makes it light weight, durable, easy to clean and rust free. This product will dramatically improve the overall cleanliness of your work area and help keep your oil from spilling or getting contaminated from rain, snow and the elements. It also solves the problems created when the machine moves around during use and looses alignment with the oil pot since it is attached to the machine. This product will catch and separate the oil from the metal shavings while recirculating the oil. It will preventoil spillage on the job site as well as when transporting from job site to jobsite. It will keep a cleaner, safer and environmentally friendly work place. The oil reservoir is completely sealable with a vented cap. The catchtray has a latching lid that doubles as a back splash. It is quick and easy to assemble and install on your ridgid 300 & tripod. It has slotted mounting brackets for the catch tray and a hook to hang the one gallon oil reservoir from the tripod. You connect the oil reservoir to the catch tray with a quickcoupling that once it is disconnected it seals off the reservoir. You connect the hand pump to the reservoir with a 3-way fitting that has a micro screen on the fitting that threads into the bottom of the reservoir for the pickup line. The catch tray has a pre screen built -in to prevent anything larger than 3/32" from getting in to the reservoir. It has clearance to remove fittings with a pipe wrench or groove up to 6"pipe without having to remove it from the pipe machine and tripod. I have over 22 years of experience with threading pipe as well as working closely with field personal that have had to manage the many problems brought on from the traditional oiling system. Some of the problems are major issues, such as oil and shavings getting cast off in approximately a ten foot radius around themachine. Then it gets worse when it gets stepped in then tracked all over thejob site, this tends to really upset the General Contractor when oil & debris is all over their new concrete or sub floor. And the EPA doesn't want oilcontaminating the ground. Other problems without getting into full detail, are but not limited to, oil contamination and oil spills from buckets getting tipped over or being transported in a vehicle. Over the years we have seen few different ways of trying to contain the oil and shavings, but none offer the whole package like the O.S.C.S. (Oil &Shavings Containment System) Easy set up, easy to use , easy to clean, lightweight, rust free and effective! I spent about 7 months developing this product with input from my co- workers (The ones that actually have to use it) and have received some great feedback from the performance of the O.S.C.S. I believe the overall performance will be just what you are looking for. The hand oil pump is NOT included. The O.S.C.S. is designed to use any hand pump that uses a 3/8 " hosebarbed fitting (Including but not limited to the Ridgid hand pumps) with a custom made fitting that is supplied. All connecting pieces, supply and returnlines are included. Now with a safety plug for the quick coupling when disconnected . These are not polished for the listed price.
