The SAF series luminaire is our most versatile product by far. Often referred to as the “troffer of the hazardous and severe environment lighting industry”, this fixture is used in environments where protection is needed from liquids or gasses, dusts or fibers. The SAF series fixture is available with ceiling, pendant, wall, stanchion and cone top mounting options. There are also various combinations of globes, guards, refractors, reflectors and other options to assure that a finished product can be configured to meet your needs. Commonly used on offshore and land based drilling rigs, in waste water treatment facilities, concrete plants, in tunnel lighting, food processing, refineries, chemical plants warehouses, mining and any other area where hazardous location, heavy hose down, wet/damp location, corrosion resistant or restricted breathing fixtures are needed. One additional feature that makes this luminaire the preferred choice of engineers, contractors and maintenance professionals is that the SAF series fixture is the only HID & CF solution approved for environments where restricted breathing equipment is necessary that does not require annual testing of the restricted breathing listing to maintain it.
