With the GD-70D, data logging is made easy with event history, alarm history, calibration history, and alarm trend functions. The operational settings for the unit can be adjusted via the front panel, while power requirements for the GD-70D include DC 24V+/- 10% and approx. 1.5W (max 4W including sensor unit). The RIKEN KEIKI GAS DETECTOR, model GD-70D, is a top-of-the-line analyzer for detecting various toxic gases, including H2Se. This gas detector is designed for clean conditions and is fully functional with no software or documentation included. The main unit of the GD-70D offers various models, including the GD-70D-NT and GD-70D-ET. Communication options for the unit include 4-20mA DC and DC power line communication using a PoE method. The GD-70D operates using different detection principles depending on the sensor unit and detectable gas. The sampling method for this gas detector includes auto-adjustment of flow rate with sample drawing types. The large LCD display on the unit provides information on gas concentration, flow rate, communication status, Pyrolyzer status, gas detected, and error code content. The sensor unit for the GD-70D comes in various models, including the ESU, SGU, SSU, OSU, and CUD. The detection principle for each of these units includes electrochemical cell, semiconductor, pyrolysis-particle, galvanic cell, and catalytic combustion. Each unit can detect various gases, including H2, CH4, or CH2F2 (R-32), TEOS, O2, and LEL gases. Additional components for the GD-70D include the Pyrolyser unit, model PLU-70, which detects NF3/TEOS gases in the air. This unit is connected to the main unit of the GD-70D and features a power lamp with LED The GD-70D features two alarm levels: 1st alarm (red) and 2nd alarm (red), as well as a fault alarm (yellow). External output options include 1st, 2nd, and trouble alarms with relay contact output for each alarm. The GD-70D also features a self-diagnostic function for system failure, sensor failure, flow failure, and communication error for NT, ET, and analog models.
