A chipless round hole cutter including a screw shear and die body which cooperate to provide a round hole in a sheet of metal, electrical box, oil pan, or boiler where internal access for a multi-piece knockout tool is limited or undesirable.  More info can be found at patents/US3761192 Cutting bore diameter of .860 and leaving no chips inside the work piece. Appears to have never been used. Some patina from handling but no real rust. Tool is marked "RM Chipless Cutter Pat. Pend." indicating that this might be an early prototype and was stamped before the patent was issued. Cleaning out my tool collection and looking to find a good home for this rare and cool tool! Check my other listings for more cool stuff.
