 RMS6 Lauda Refrigerating Circulating 6 Liter Water Bath Good Working Condition • Capacity: 6 L • Temperature range: -15°C to 120°C • Uniformity -0.01°C • Digital temperature display Manufacturer: Lauda Model: RMS 6 Weight: 50 lbs. Electrical: 120V The RM Series of refrigerating circulators provides precise temperature control and maximum cooling capacity to closed-loop systems. Compact Model RMS6 features a 6L bath reservoir and a cooling capacity of 440 watts (1500BTU/hr at 20C) in a narrow 7.9-inch width. All RM models are supplied with a convenient bath drain and sturdy carrying handles. Bath liquid contacts only stainless steel. Includes Manual, User Notes, and Repair Notes:: Unit comes with user manual, user notes clarifying unclear portions of the manual, and repair notes for maintenance and repair. Repair notes include information on internal schematics, parts, and how to repair the unit in the future. Data is included on internal components for replacement in the event of failure in the distant future. Contact information with repair technician is included. Energy-saving temperature control: Proportional Integral Differential (PID) temperature control saves energy by adjusting the 1000-watt heater power to correspond with effective demand, and compensates for temperature drift to achieve the highest level of accuracy. CFC-free cooling system: Below 30°C, the refrigeration system operates continuously. Above 30°C the compressor can be shut off manually for more efficient heating. All Lauda RM models use R-134a, an environmentally safe, CFC-free refrigerant.
“Unit has been refurbished with replacement parts and thoroughly tested. Refurbishment was done by a third party (not OEM) in electronics. Unit is clean and in good working condition. The pilot lights in both the Mains and Cooling Switches of this unit are either burned out or intermittent. However, they have no role in the unit except to indicate that the Switch is ON or OFF, so their intermittent operation can be ignored. Shipment packaging is not original but it will handle cross country travel.”
