There are many CNC routers on E-bay, but none are like this one. Most have undersized stepper motors that lose torque at high speed. Lost torque means lost position which generates scrap and lost revenue. Don't buy a cheap made stepper machine, get a commercially made servo RocTech CNC. This machine has four 850 Watt servo motors with high resolution encoders. It has 2 motors that drive the X axis gantry, and one motor each for the Y and Z axes. What does this mean? Over 2 horsepower of drive power for the X axis drive allows this machine’s gantry to accelerate and decelerate quickly while maintaining full positional control. Stepper motor machines lose position at high accelerations. Lost position=lost revenue. Servo machines with position encoders don’t lose position. It’s the best of both worlds, fast and accurate. Unlike many machines, the control system for the servos are made by the best US companies. Others might be less expensive at first, but when they break, you are going to be down for a week or two. The US made boards used in this machine are high quality and very robust. The Breakout board is made by PMDX for industrial applications and the motion controller is the famous Smoothstepper Ethernet. These boards are matched together to allow this machine to perform at full potential, even at full speed. The system works with the highly regarded Mach 3 control system. The Servo drives and motors are Yaskawa industrial units, which are some of the best on the market. The connection between the computer and the router is Ethernet based. Ethernet is made for industrial use. Many other machines use USB connections which work well for hobby machines, but don’t reject noise well enough for an industrial setting. One of the big advantages to buying from us is that you will be getting a non-proprietary machine. If you purchase a domestic name brand, you are stuck paying outlandish rates should you have a problem. It is 100 times easier and less expensive to deal with mach3 and pmdx. There are no compromises in this machine. In the CNC world, heavy welded frames are rigid and accurate. Sloppy bolt together frames flex and generate scrap. Many machines have underpowered spindles and cheap drives or worse, repurposed handheld routers. This machine has a beautiful 4 Horsepower HSD spindle and a high quality Delta Inverter. For most work, there is no better combination for the money. Cheap inverters burn up spindles and cheap spindles don’t last. This machines has a well thought out vacuum system to make your job hold down quick and easy, saving time and labor cost. One square foot of hold down area can generate almost a ton of hold down force. This machine runs on 220 Volts three phase and weighs over 3000 lbs. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, you will not find a better machine. The Hiwin 25mm linear rails are exceptionally rigid. Many other machines use Vee rails because they are cheap. The problem with Vee rails is that the rails wear and introduce error into the cutting. Hiwin hardened rails are made for day in day out industrial use and come with an easy to use lubrication system. Mach 3 runs industry standard G code. Just plug in a thumb drive with your tool paths from Artcam, Aspire, Vcarve Pro, Mastercam or any other CAM software that will generate G-code. Also included is a wireless handheld controller. This makes setup a snap because you can control the machine while you are securing your work to the table. This is a huge time saver when combined with automatic tool zeroing. All the wiring is neatly executed. The cabinet has doors on both sides for easy access and each door locks with a key.
