Owing to its wide I/Q bandwidth of 50 MHz, the R&S SMV 03 is also optimally suited for applications using high data rates such as WLAN standards. Signals to digital standards can be easily generated in conjunction with an external I/Q source like the Modulation Generator R&S AMIQ (PD 0757.3970) and the associated R&S WinIQSIM simulation software (PD 0758.0680).
