Don't know much about this roller, hopefully the pictures tell the story. The roller is a softer foam as opposed to a hard rubber. A few notes on shipping. I enter an estimated weight of the item that includes a factor for an undetermined packaging configuration. The EBay calculated shipping charges are based on the estimated weight of the item and packaging coupled with the distance it needs to travel. The USPS has been the most economical way to ship and have been very reliable from my experience. Like all costs their prices continue to rise and yes they do charge nearly as much as being calculated. Also keep in mind that Ebay AND Paypal bill fees that add approximately13% (!!!!!) to the calculated shipping amount. It is difficult/impossible to know what these fees are precisely with the calculator until the ship to zip code is finalized. On auctions that are around a dollar or less, there is little to no margin in these unknown costs. Items that are under a dollar typically see “profits” of a few nickels even with what may appear to be exorbitant shipping charges. I encourage the combining of all auction items under one invoice in one package. This saves everyone time and money. A few caveats revolve around Media and First Class Mail. Only Media Mail items can be combined in a Media Mail package. Thus shipping method and costs are determined by the items to be shipped. In addition small and lightweight items must remain under 13ozs. (Yes 13ozs) to capitalize on lower costs associated with shipping First Class Mail. Once that weight limit is exceeded then the destination zip code becomes the driver in cost. Costs associated with Parcel and Priority Mail options can easily double or triple the costs depending on the destination. So if in doubt ask what kind of combined shipping can be accomplished. The majority of the time I reuse packing materials in order to further reduce shipping charges. I strive to save shipping costs yet still generally use boxes and appropriate packing material to ship parcels. It is a rare day that padded envelopes are used and when I do they are usually reinforced. This helps ensure a safe transit through the hands of the USPS. In addition I typically pay for and include delivery confirmation so progress of the parcel can be tracked and when economically feasible switch to Priority Mail to enable quicker delivery times.
