Up for sale is a used Romaxx HS-1 CNC router. I have owned this machine for about 4 years and purchased it new from Romaxx directly. This IS NOT the closed looped version. It is the base model with some additions that I will list below. This thing weighs a lot and I am not comfortable shipping it as I have no idea how to package it for safe transport. See below for prices paid for the items when I purchased them. I used this machine to primarily cut cedar for beehives. It has been well cared for but is used and as such shows wear. It is in good adjustment but will need to be fine tuned once it is moved to it's new home so be prepared to do so. What's Included and what it is priced as new: Romaxx HS-1- $2490 Mach 3 License-$149 (on the computer) Porter Cable Router-$220 Spindle Bracket-$60 Cast Aluminum Tooling Plate-$350 Vac Foot-$125 Vectric Aspire 3.5-$1625  Precise Bits Porter Cable Collet Set-$100 Various cutting bits $300 plus That's over $5000 invested new. I am also including two older Dell computers if you want them, one to drive the CNC machine and the other for the Aspire Software. Dell Tower GX-260 to drive the CNC Machine plus screen and keyboard Dell XPS Laptop with Aspire installed plus Discs This is a turn key CNC rig. It is very solid and works well. It would be hard to build a better machine for the money invested especially with the Aspire software included. Aspire is updated to version 3.504. You can upgrade to version 4.5 for $400. Also, since I am the original license holder the license can be transferred for $50 so it is 100% yours. I am happy to pay for the transfer once the auction closes and payment is received. That way you will have the proper documentation showing you own the license. I have the original install disc with the free Vector 3d art included. This is a huge plus for design work. Now for the issues, the aluminum tooling plate has been hit with cutters so isn't new and shows wear. It doesn't change performance and if you are new to CNC or even if your not, it will happen. The router is in good shape but has been used and is a wearable item. The v bearings on the machine have all been cleaned recently but these do wear so know that they may need to be cleaned or replaced down the road. The computers are older. You don't need anything more than the tower to run the CNC so that doesn't need upgrading.  The reason for selling is that I am no longer mass producing the beehives and so don't use the CNC very much and it mostly just sits. I would like to free up the funds for other things. This is a tough machine and not plastic like the CNC Shark Machines. Read about the Romaxx and you will see what a tough rig this is.  Local Pickup only as I have no idea how to ship all of this to you. I am located in Littleton, Colorado, just south of Denver. I do have a reserve on the auction but it is far less than the price of a new machine alone. From the Romaxx Website: Our goal from the onset with this design was to develop a cost-efficient durable machine that will provide years of trouble free service. In practically any industrial environment. Designed around the software and the performance characteristics of the electronics, the result is an excellent balance of precision, power and speed. Bridge: 6061-T6 Aluminum Tig welded construction machined square to very close tolerance. Linear system: V-rail system designed in house from O-1 tool steel. The ways are adjustable and provide very stable precise motion with almost no friction or resisitance. Enabling the HS-1 to attain its very high rapid speeds.Very smooth traverse/ Gantry: All 6061-T6 aluminum construction for lighter weight, increased strength and speed, Hard gold anodized finish for durability. All machined components, no bent and drilled parts. Drive system: Innovative high tensile cogged belt. No stretch steel lined with high tensile strength means a powerful means of delivering motion to each axis at higher speeds and less friction than any other coordinated mechanical means. These types of belts have been powering large industrial CNC machines axes for years with tolerances and repeatability in the thousandths of an inch or smaller. Base: All 1018 steel mig welded construction, Black oxide finish with electronics mounted securely on drawer in the cabinet. The table can support a few hundred pounds easily.
