From the preface: This Volume has been prepared so that every carpenter, and particularly every carpenter apprentice will have available a book that gives in a practical way the fundamental things about roof framing". Text is augmented by many drawings to help the reader better understand the text. Well indexed. The book is in good - (minus) condition. Binding is tight. There is wear to both boards...some staining and rubbing. Lettering on spine is faded. Interior pages are generally in decent shape but there is writing in pencil on a few pages.
