You are bidding on a VERY HIGH QUALITY, motorized rotary grinding fixture. It has a 9 inch PERMANENT MAGNET CHUCK and a PRECISION SINE PLATE BASE. It is equipped with a 1/4 horsepower, VARIABLE SPEED MOTOR and motor controller. It looks like it has an OIL FILLED WORM DRIVE GEARBOX. Height from chuck surface to base is about 7 inches. The base is about 11 inch by 7 inches. The variable speed motor, belt drives, the rotary chuck, through a worm drive. The unit weighs about 95 pounds and the motor drive easily comes off for shipment. THIS UNIT IS IN EXCELENT CONDITION, see the pictures. It was not even gritty when I obtained it. This is not an indexing fixture. This unit came from a steel mill machine shop, and was in use when the mill was closed down. The motor was tested and runs great. Everything feels tight, just as it should. There is one small nick on the edge of the chuck, otherwise the chuck surface looks great (see pictures). Buyer pays actual shipping from 60430 zip. will be packaged in two boxes, one for the rotary chuck + gear box and one for the motor drive. This is not a moto-grind, but a brand from England, Bowers Bradford- see the pictures.  Please ignore the above shipping estimate. It will be shipped in two boxes. The weight is 90 pounds without packaging. One box would be about 85 pounds and the other would be about 35 pounds. Maybe this would be a Freight item, I don't know??
