The RTS KP-98-7 is designed to work with the RTS matrix intercom systems, to complement as well as surpass the features of the existing KP-96 and KP-97 keypanels, The KP-98-7 uses the electret mic goosenecks and also has illuminated pushbuttons for the talk and listen functions. Each of these switches has two levels of illumination for clear identification of switch status: dim for off and bright for on. This allows for easy identification in darkened environments. The switches also feature a “digi-action” momentary/latching capability, (momentary operation: press and hold the button, latched operation: tap the button quickly). In addition, an unprecedented capability in matrix-based intercoms is the use of ten lighted pushbuttons as function keys. Features -15 talk keys and 15 listen keys are illuminated pushbutton switches -1 Call Answer lighted pushbutton switch with Call Waiting display -Keypad for Programming -Electret microphone/gooseneck 12” MCP-5 standard: 18” -MCP-6 available as option -16 4-character green dot matrix alphanumeric display for caller ID. -Keypad for assignment of talk/listen keys and telephone dialout (on TIF-2000). -All talk keys universally programmable for all functions (pt to pt, IFB, PL, ISO, group call, relays, telephone). -4 pre-assigned keypanel configuration set-ups -Copy function on keypad transfers calls form call waiting key to any other talk key. -16 pushbutton expansion panel EKP-98-0 available. -Optional KP-96-RC rear connector kit for expansion panels and additional audio input/output connectors (required for EKP-98-0). -Individual crosspoint volume control function available when used with ADAM series matrices.
