Rubylith is great for use in camera and plate-making operations for various printing processes. It is safe for use with a range of films and stencil films or emulsions. However, Rubylith is not suitable for use as a lens filter due to its pebbled surface which affects image clarity. Technical Information: Rubylith's red layer or "Ruby" can be separated from the crystal-clear polyester backing or "Lith".
