Magnetic 50mm Calibration Sphere The 50mm Calibration sphere is our most accurate method of calibrating your portable CMM measuring probe. To calibrate use the “Sphere method,” follow the on-screen instructions, probing the sphere 15 times where specified, holding the arm in 4 different orientations. A calibration sphere allows easy calibration of non-standard probes (such as extended or points) and provides a more accurate calibration than when using the single point artefact.   The calibration sphere and stand can either be attached to a suitable surface using the included magnetic base or attached directly to another surface (including the S-FIX Fixturing table) using the M8 threaded underside. Designed and manufactured in the UK.
