STI-34752 Additional Wireless Outdoor Motion Detector - Know when someone is behind your building, a shed or garage. Outdoor motion detector alerts when sensor detects movement in a monitored area. Special Dual-Frequency infrared (DFIRT) opto-electronics provide the highest level of false alarm immunity available in a passive infrared motion sensor. When outdoor sensor detects motion, it will send a wireless radio signal to the 4-channel voice receiver. If the supervised transmitter is removed from the door, stolen, loses signal or battery is low, the receiver will produce a single beep once a minute. Sensor uses one CR123A battery (included), with an average life of 6-8 years in normal use. Operates up to 1000' range (line of sight), 433 mhz wireless frequency. The sensor is water resistant so can be placed in damp areas. Designed with pet immunity to allow the presence of pets without signaling an alarm (100 lbs./45 kg. or lighter). It includes a special micro-element lens array that produces much stronger optical signals for humans than for pets 100 lbs./45 kg. or lighter. The optical sensitivity of each STI-34752 is factory calibrated to ensure accurate discrimination between humans and pets. This additional detector works great and is an extension to Wireless Alert Series. Works with the 4-Channel Receiver (STI-34104), 4-Channel Voice Receiver (STI-V34104), 8-Channel Receiver (STI-34108) or Single Channel Slave Receiver (STI-34098).
