Outdoor motion detector alerts when sensor detects movement in a monitored area. Special Dual-Frequency infrared (DFIRT) opto-electronics provide the highest level of false alarm immunity available in a passive infrared motion sensor. When outdoor sensor detects motion, it will send a wireless radio signal to the 4-channel voice receiver. If the supervised transmitter is removed from the door, stolen, loses signal or battery is low, the receiver will produce a single beep once a minute. Sensor uses one CR123A battery (included), with an average life of 6-8 years in normal use. It offers ten tones/tunes and 53 selectable words (English or Spanish), up to four tones/tunes or words can be programmed in sequence to identify which location requires assistance. Operates up to 1000' range (line of sight), 433 mhz wireless frequency. The sensor is water resistant so can be placed in damp areas. Designed with pet immunity to allow the presence of pets without signaling an alarm (100 lbs./45 kg. or lighter). It includes a special micro-element lens array that produces much stronger optical signals for humans than for pets 100 lbs./45 kg. or lighter.
