The attenuator exhibits 2.5 dB typical insertion loss and 30 dB nominal attenuation across the frequency range of 30 to 40 GHz. The control voltage of the standard model is 0 to -5 VDC with a typical current draw of 10 mA. However, the attenuator can also be configured with a positive control voltage from 0 to +5 VDC. The control speed of the attenuator can go up to 100 ns. The RF input and output ports are WR-28 waveguides with UG-599/U flanges, and a female SMA coaxial connector provides the control signal.
