SAKURA SRM 300 LT MANUAL MICROTOME - FULLY RECONDITIONED. This microtome is in superb condition. Our Biomedical Engineering Department went over it from top to bottom and it is now in perfect working order. We disassembled it, cleaned it, lubricated it and then reassembled it, tested and calibrated it. We then touched up some minor scratches and now it looks as good as it performs. This microtome has all the features you may possibly want in a top of the line microtome. It has a retraction function that prevents the specimen from scraping against the back of the blade on the up stroke. It turns smooth as silk and cuts beautiful ribbons (see images) cleanly and precisely. All the controls are crisp. The waste tray and accessory tray that can be seen on the images of this offer are included. It operates with low profile blades. A copy of its Operation Manual is included with this microtome.
