Cylinder Screen Printing Press - this is an automatic 45" sheet feed silk screen printer excellent for running heavy card stock. We used mainly for outdoor sign using 24pt card stock. Also good for coating sheeting such as UV. The footprint of the press line is - 30' x 7' and I estimate the minimum length you would need is around 45' to have room to load the media and remove the finish material with a pallet jack. The press is a Sakurai SC 112A with UV dryer and Liberty Auto Stacker. So, once the press is set, the operator just needs to keep the screen wet or better said ample ink for the squeegee. Sizes we typically ran for Campaign signs: small sheets 30 x 28 - fold over to 15 x 28 larger sheets up to 30 x 44 fold over to 15 x 44 or 22 x 44 I have 12 frames / screens which makes producing them more efficient and minimizes down time. Also keep in mind you use this process to coat material either 100% coverage or spot. With the right film line screen and screen mesh, you can run process colors to produce full color images too. Printing and packing material is another market that has upside recently.
