Salida, 37" Wide, Single Head Drum Sander for woodworking. Model PS-371. Variable speed drum and variable speed feed conveyor. This sander has a "flap-style" sanding head. We believe this type head can be used for sanding profiled pieces. Has a 3 HP Baldor main motor. 1/4 HP feed conveyor motor. 230V Single Phase. According to the nameplate, this sander originally had a 5 HP main motor. Previous owner must have replaced the motor at some point. We have test run the sander here and it seems to operate fine.Mfg. Salida is still in business, but we have not tried to contact them or a distributor to see if parts are still available.
