This therapeutic putty is designed to offer a range of physical resistance for rehab of hand and finger muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc. after injury.  Designed to help increase range of motion and strength during rehab, it comes with four chips of a resistance-increasing material that can be mixed into the putty as recovery continues.  It is a 70 gram (2.5 oz) amount of rehab putty.  This batch was given to me by a physical therapist who had already mixed one of the chips into the exercise putty.  It still a very low resistance (which is why she recommended I start with one chip mixed in).  I never used the putty whatsoever.  It is still just as I received it from the therapist, but it is a great and well recommended tool for hand rehab, wrist rehab, finger rehab, etc.  A variety of recommended exercises are included (see pictures). I had a wrist injury (scaphoid fracture) and this was intended for exercise after the extended healing period in the cast, so that I could regain range of motion, flexibility and eventually strength in my wrist and thumb.  I will include two other foam exercise squish balls, which are useful for the same purpose (see pictures).  All of these are great for hand and finger exercise or stress relief as well regardless of if you have an injury or not.
