The main idea of this sollution to control individual 12V batteries in the battery strings. For example in 24-48-60V Telecom DC Power Systems or UPS battery strings up to 40x12V batteries in the string. Main problem in the battery string is a finding the "weak component". When you have up to 16x12V batteries (4 parallel strings 48V) or up to 40x12V batteries in the UPS - it's a really difficult to find out bad battery. During discharge in the battery strings some of the batteries can goes down less than 10V. Those batteries are bad and you need to check them more attentive may be using discharge unit or MIDTRONICS tester or both. 10.8V is a deadline for SLA batteries for the 4h+ discharge test and 9V - deadline for quick discharge tests (up to 1h). We can set any voltage alarm level from 8 to 11V according a settings of your power system.
