Sani-Tea does what Urn-ex has issues with, removing stains. Sani-Tea is a food service safe sanitizer and cleaner that also removes the tea and coffee stains that others have issues doing. Sani-Tea keeps tea urns shiny and clean and brew baskets looking like new.  How to use * Tea Brewer regular maintenance;  Regular cleaning; Two packages of Sani-tea in a brew basket (that has restricter tip)  - brew into a rinsed out urn and let set over night. Make certain to flow through the faucet to keep it clean. If you urns are the large size, put the brew basket in the urn when its done brewing. * Very Dirty and stained urns, brew baskets - You need very HOT WATER (at least 180 degrees) - use your tea brew cycle or coffee brewer - full urn with 3 gallons of that very hot hater, stur in 4 packets of Sani-Tea cleaner, place brew basket in the urn and let set. You may need to "once over" scrub the thick stains out but you will see that will come off easily. Once you get it all clean, follow the "maintenance" procedure daily. * Coffee air-pots; One or two (depending how stained) or Sani-Tea's into a air-pot then brew full of hot water (from the coffee machine). Stir it in with the air-pot steam, close. Pump One squirt through the air-pot into a cup, then let sit for at least 5 min. Pump again and prepare to be surprised what comes out!  Again, very, very Hot water is the key. I have used many cleaners and Sani-Tea by far trumps them all! NOTE - The one thing that this will not remove are the "insoluble salts" that  build-up from storing tea in refrigeration - this is the white chalky film that adheres itself to the tea urn.
