Hello and thank you for checking out our auction. This one is for a cherry Santinelli 7070 PLBM edger set. It was refurbished by the fine folks down at VSI, and the machine is super clean. The entire unit was gone through, dismantled, upgraded, and resealed. This unit has not been taken apart or messed with in any way. We obtained the edger in a trade, set it up, and it was 100% working with no issues. In order to vouch for the operation, we cut several jobs, all without any issues. The outside of the edger is shiny, the button pad is clean, and the LCD screen clear. All bolts and covers are original, and the wheels were replaced during the VSI refurb process. There is lots of life in this unit, and in the right hands, will help you make and save thousands. We simply have too many machines taking up space, and need to make the move. While it may not be new, the wheels are sharp, the tracer is on point and the motor sounds like a beast. We were going to keep it, but with the recent downsizing, we could really use the space. The cut count listed shows just over 42,000, but the unit and internal cleanliness suggest this unit could have less. The 7070 edger is a powerhouse of a unit that can get you edging your own glasses on a dime sized budget. The edger is 100% original, and has the normal wear and tear of a machine it's age. These units can really get up there without needed much upkeep or repairs. We actually have one that has over 250,000 cut and is still going strong. This machine will cut CR-39, Poly, Hi-Index, and Trivex materials. As for mountings, it can cut the standard V bevel or leave a flat edge, to be either grooved or drilled. And yes, the machine polishes to a very fine luster. If you are new to edging, and win this auction, we advise picking up a safety bevel hand stone, and an auto groover for rimless lens work. Both pieces can be picked up in the low $200s if you shop around. Included in this sale is the edger, the blocker shown, the rimless accessory kit, a deblocking tool, up tube, down tube, water pump, and a few blocks with blocking pads. The unit will be turn key, and will only require a standard water bucket if you choose to use the recirculation system over direct water. We prefer direct water and can help you locate a water solenoid if you would like to pursue this option. We are listing the edger and blocker together for $3,695. We feel that is a fair number and can help someone get into the game, add another machine on the cheap, or add the set to their existing lab. Regarding shipping, pick up is always free, and we can either offer freight or delivery options too. For freight, we can send the machine to any of the 48 US states for $395. If you want to have the equipment dropped off, we will bill you $2.00 per mile from the 19462 zip code. We have another machine that just came in, and it's all there... we just didn't have the time to go through it. We are listing it as a bonus parts machine, and it will have important items such as the mother board, LMU, motors, internal electronics, etc. The only negative to report is that the cover had a few cracks on this one and was glued.
