Hello and thank you for checking out our auction. This one is for a lightly used Santinelli 9000 SX Express edger set. If you don't know, when it comes to edging, this is the cream of the crop for the 9000 series. The Express allows for faster lens production, and improves accuracy thanks to the advanced SOFT grind mode (this helps immensely with slick AR coatings). Compared to standard 9000 units, this version possesses stronger engineered internals, and is hands down the most advanced 9000 ever. This machine will cut CR-39, Poly, Hi-Index, and Trivex materials. It can cut standard V bevels as well as grooving, safety beveling, polishing, chamfering, and create flat lenses for drill mount purposed. You can trace frames, patterns, and even demo lenses with the PSA rimless accessory jig. This unit contains shape memory for keeping patterns stored on the internal memory too. The 9000 is compatible with advanced intelligent blockers such as the Ice Mini, the Ice 9000, and the Ice 1000 also. If you have one of these units already, the 9000 will add on with a simple plug in play RS-232 connection. Collectively, the unit has just over 24,200 total cuts from processing. The outside of the edger is shiny, the button pad is clean, and the LCD screen is clear. The contrast knob operates seamlessly, and the unit functions 100% the way it should. There is lots of life in this set, and in the right hands, this will help you make and save tens of thousands of dollars. We simply have too many machines taking up space, and need to make the move. While it may not be brand new, the wheels are sharp, the tracer is on point and the motor sounds like a beast. We were going to keep it, but with recent downsizing, we could really use the elbow room. Included in this sale is the edger, the CE blocker, the complete rimless accessory kit, a deblocking tool, a three piece set of calibration tools, two up tubes, one down tube, two water pumps, about two dozen blocks, and a new box of blocking pads ($80 value). The unit will be turn key, and will only require a standard water bucket if you choose to use the recirculation system over direct water. We prefer direct water and can help you locate direct water solenoids if you would like to pursue this option. We are listing the edger and blocker together for $8,995.
