This foot switch has two push bars on either side, marked 'Play' and 'Back'. I couldn't find details on the connections for those out there that might need something like this so I opened the unit and made some measurements. See below. Connector: 6 pin DIN. Active connections: P'2 of the connector and the metal shield of the connector. When no switches are depressed there is a resistance of 18Kohms between P'2 and the shield. When the 'Play' (right) side is depressed the resistance from P'2 and the shield changes to 33Kohms. When the 'Back' (left) side is depressed the resistance from P'2 to the shield changes to a low resistance (<.1Kohm on this unit and varies a little from push to push). The 'Play' switch internally is normally closed, the 'Back' switch is normally open. There is a small circuit board with two resistors on it connected to the switches which feed to the connector on just two wires (P'2 and the shield.) Hope this helps (sell the footswitch, that is...)
