The integrated automatically controlled four gas mixing system provides Overlay and Sparger gassing. Air is routed to Overlay. Air, O2, N2 and CO2 are routed to Sparger. Separate rotameters for gas to the Sparger and Overlay makes adjusting the flow rate easy. The gas composition is automatically controlled via DO and pH controllers. By an easy upgrade of culture vessel components and rotameter flow range, the system can be also used for microbial cultures.
