The SATO CL608's 203dpi, 6" wide print head makes it possible to print large format compliance labels at top speed without rotating the images. Labels from as small as 0.78" tall and 1.96" wide to as large as 7" wide by 14" long may be printed with the SATO CL608. Up to 50" long with an optional PCMCIA memory card. For maximum throughput, a 32-bit high speed RISC processor is at the heart of every SATO CL608. Also built into every SATO CL608 is the exclusive SATO print head control feature. This feature constantly monitors print head conditions and automatically adjusts print energy for optimum and consistent print quality. Designed for heavy duty applications, this compact printer is simple to operate. Only two push button switches are needed to control the SATO CL608. Five LED indicators keep the operator informed of machine status. Configuring the SATO CL608 is fast and simple thanks to a full array of secondary controls. The printer's rugged steel case accommodates a full 8" roll of labels, protecting them from the harsh environments found in manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Label and ribbon loading is fast and easy via the printer's easy-open case and unobstructed paper path.
