Scale-Tronix Model 1540 Digital Infant Scale Control / Display Made in U.S.A.  Very high quality construction. This is a new display unit that has never been used. It comes with a manual that contains schematics, calibration procedure and theory of operation. The only thing additional required is the platform with the weight sensor. The unit has a connector on the back with 4 pins. Two pins are for excitation to the sensor and two pins are for the sensor signal. This unit could easily be used for other weighing uses with the proper weight sensor. The manual has everything you need to make the adaption. I have included photos of the interior in case you want to consider salvage or repurposing. These parts are socketed: (1) M80C31F - 8 Bit Processor (1) M81C55-5 - 2048BIT CMOS SRAM,I/O PORTS AND TIMER (1) NMC27C64Q - PROM (1) ICL7135CPI - 4 1/2 Digit BCD Output A/D Converter (1) ICM7218BIJI - 8 digit LED display driver (6) 7 Segment LED display (4) HLCP-B100 - Red LED Bar 19.05 mm x 3.81 mm (.750 in. x .150 in.) (2) HLCP-H100 - Red LED Bar 8.89 mm x 19.05 mm (.350 in. x .750 in.) The case itself would be great for any kind of project with a digital display.
