A VERY NICE, HARD TO FIND KEUFFEL & ESSER VINTAGE 20 INCH POLYPHASE SLIDE RULE MODEL N4053-5. THESE SURVIVING 20 IN. N4043-5 K&E SLIDE RULES ARE BECOMING INCREASINGLY SCARE, AS THIS MODEL WAS NOT PRODUCED IN NEARLY THE NUMBERS OF THE MORE COMMON 10 IN. 4053-3 POLYPHASE, SINCE THE 20 IN. N4053-5 WAS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE ! THIS FINE EXAMPLE IS IN VERY WELL PRESERVED CONDITION WITH SMOOTH, TIGHT CURSOR, SILKY SMOOTH SLIDE ACTION TOO ! VINTAGE IS ESTIMATED TO BE OF THE 1940'S ERA.
