Penetro 90® Penetrating Oil Penetro 90® is a high performance penetrating oil that penetrates and lubricates all types of moving parts Rapid deposition of a long lasting solid lubricant film that greatly reduces friction and wear. Rapid penetration into the pores of the metal in order to free frozen bolts, sticking linkages and control cable arms. Threads pack with rust. Penetro 90®, with it's exclusive chemical friction modifier, penetrates into threads and rust and acts like tiny ball bearings. Within seconds, the bolt releases. The Proven Rust Buster There are countless reasons to need a reliable "rust buster." Engine work, construction, maintenance, demolition, etc. Penetro 90® is a high performance penetrating oil that penetrates and lubricates all types of moving parts that have become difficult to operate due to increased friction from wear, corrosion or the buildup of sludge and grime. Penetro 90® is blended from a unique patented formula that provides the following benefits: Superior rust busting characteristics Formation of a Triple Barrier Shield to protect against rust and other corrosive buildup. Formation of a protective shield that rejects abrasive particles such as dirt, sand and salt, and protects against moisture. Superior extreme pressure and anti-wear properties in order to increase equipment life and reduce downtime. Will not affect any seal materials or coatings. Prevents Thread Stripping Have you ever stripped a thread breaking a bolt loose? With ordinary penetrating oil you spray the bolt, you get it half way off, and it jams. Rust is packed in the threads. You lean a little harder on the wrench and ZIP - there goes your threads. Ordinary penetrating oils are solvent based. Feel them. They don't have any lubricating guts to lubricate the threads. Penetro 90® is oil based. Feel it. It coats the threads with an oil film that cuts friction. Plus, it has two friction fighters - Penetro and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) lubrication solids. They coat each rust particle and act like tiny ball bearings so the rust particles slide over each other easily without sticking to the threads. In fact, PTFE is the same non-stick surface used on non-stick frying pans. The result? Bolts release with fingertip ease. Triple Barrier Shield Against Rust Ordinary penetrating oils contain one rust and corrosion inhibitor. Penetro 90® contains three - Penetro, PTFE, and Rustop. They penetrate deep into the pores of metals and form a plating that provides a triple barrier shield against rust and corrosion. Triples the life of Hoist Chains Ordinary penetrating oils fail the Timken Film Strength Test at 1-2 lbs. Penetro and PTFE additives carry a 65 lb. Timken Load. This translates over 100,000 psi protection on hoist load chains and sprockets. Triples the Time Between Applications Ordinary penetrating oils are solvent-based, have little lubricating value, and evaporate quickly. Penetro 90® is oil based and coats surfaces with a light, clear lubricating film that stays on indefinitely.
