This Solar Meter is ideal for monitoring the production of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic systems. Designed for quick installation, the meter collects, stores and uploads the photovoltaic system's production data to the solar solution provider over an existing cellular network link that is fast, reliable and secure. Every Solar Meter is certified for accuracy using stringent ANSI C12.1 and C12.20 standards and will measure inverter production with up to 99.5% accuracy, regardless of inverter or panel type. This Solar Meters offer “plug and play” installation. Using utility-standard installation techniques, a Solar Meter can be installed in less than 45 minutes and quickly activated to report production data to the solar provider. Features + Benefits Installation. This Solar Meter plugs into a number of energy industry-standard ANSI plug-in bases. For most residential installations of 200 amps or less, a widely available standard Form 2S is used. Installing the Solar Meter in line with the service panel feed allows the solar provider to utilize the meter's remote disconnect option to ensure safety during utility outages or modifications to the main service panel. Every Solar Meter is enabled to accept over-the-air firmware updates, ensuring the meter always has the latest capabilities. Data Collection.This Solar Meter is ANSI-certified, revenue-grade meters that accurately measure solar energy production. Measurement of panel production is accomplished with 99.9% accuracy at intervals (generally 15 minute or 1 hour) defined by the solar provider. Production data can be stored in the meter for up to 90 days. The SmartMeter module provides the solar provider with a vast quantity of meter alarms that provide information about the installation. This meter was installed for test purpose only and removed after only 1 hour.
