The unit can be set to measure errors for any 1 or all 4 of the DS1 channels in the DS2 signal, or for either or both DS1 channels in a DS1C signal. The receiver has a built-in real time clock with rechargeable battery back-up for error logging. The battery back-up also stores the operating mode and current measurement data.
