SCOPE COMPASS ALIDADE ? ~No Makers Marks~ ~SOLID BRASS~ ~Estate Sale Find~ Not sure if used by Military on Ships or what purpose it was exactly used for...if anyone out there knows, would you please enlighten me? Measures approximately: Telescope fully extended is 11" long Compass Housing overall is 5.75" in diameter Table to top of Telescope is 4" tall Weighs Approximately: 1 pound 14.7 ounces Condition: I am not knowledgeable at all about this type of item. The compass works, although tilts and then has to be moved so it positions itself correctly. Scope works. No broken glass. No dents. No dings. But, the item is quite old so there are some scratches. Brass needs to be polished. It does not appear that there were other attachments to this piece. Item sold "AS-IS"--please see photos. Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. I expect you to do your Due Diligence (Research) and ask me your questions before you bid. I am describing this item to the best of my knowledge based on what I see. I have no idea how truly old this item is. I do not know if it works properly or if there are any parts missing.
