Scopus E-1720/1710 combines encoding, modulation and upconversion is a rugged single rack-mounted unit. It is an ideal compact platform for the uncompromising requirements of the DSNG mobile news market: up-link vans, SUV's and flyaway packages. The 1720/1710 provides broadcast-quality 70/140 IF and 950-2150 MHz L-Band outputs, as well as separate L-Band monitoring output. It supports QPSK/8PSK/16QAM satellite modulation schemes and combines best picture quality with steady, low power consumption. Standard E-1720/1710 features include: analog a  nd digital A/V inputs, pre-programmed set-ups, SW upgrade via flash card, encoder cascading and custom DSNG menu system. 10 MHz reference clock and DC power supply for BUC may be delivered "on stream" or via external connectors.
