We designed this system for a Curling club that never got the funding grant they expected, we were left with the components of a half built project. There is a button switch under each LED, when first powered on the LED reads '0' (zero) press the button once and it changes to '1' press it again and it changes to '2' etc up to '9' then press the button again and it rolls around back to '0'. There are 20 cards total. It runs on 12V so it can be powered from any 12V supply or even from a car battery in outdoor locations. What we're selling are the circuit boards to construct these cards. They require a few dollars worth of parts on the back, (ICs, resistors and transistors) and they need a large LED and switch on the front, the LED is less than $20 from Digikey and may be available even cheaper from China. At the price listed for this eBay auction we will provide the bare circuit board and the parts values and locations for you to assemble them yourself. We would also be happy to do the soldering. If you would like us to finish assembling them please contact us and we will modify the price for the listing to account for the parts and labour. We also still have the schematics and CAD drawings for these if you want o build more we could sell you the engineering or we could produce more cards. If you want to make your own circuit boards, I would sell the schematic and parts list for $10, no shipping costs, I'll just email it all to you and you can make as many as you like or even modify it to better suit your application. See separate auction. I've added another picture showing the size of the LED, it's 5" tall so it can be easily seen from the other end of a curling rink or other sports venue. I estimate that at current prices (Sept 2015) parts from Digikey.com will cost about $30USD to complete one of these, the bulk of that being the LED, (Kingbright SA40-19EWA @ $17USD). I will supply a complete working board with LED for $60. If you buy ten or more I'll drop that to $55
