Scott Air-Pak II SCBA Breathing Apparatus Pack w/Case Mask Tank Presur-Pak, 2001 Product Details: Scott Air-Pak II SCBA Breathing Apparatus Pack (this one has a Diamond International tank as shown) Includes the Case, Mask, Tank, Presur-Pak, and Harness The tank is marked with what look like dates: 12/77, 6/88, 10/91, 10/96, and 9/01, each with B6 75 between the numbers. The tank holder has a sticker on it that has a punched date of May 03. The case has a maintenance tag that says it expires 12 months from Feb 2006. We purchased this air pack - along with several others (see our other listings) - from a closed paper mill back in late 2008. They were palletized and sat in our inventory when they got wet in a flood in mid-2011. This pack got very wet and quite dirty. There is now rust on all the various buckles, on the tank where the paint has chipped, on the tank clamp, and on the hose clamps on the mask air supply tube. The meter on the top of the tank has rust marks on the inside, partially obscuring the view of the meter (the meter on the Presur-Pak looks OK). The case and everything needs cleaning. The meter on top of the tank reads empty and I was unable to test this setup. This tank is older and may not be usable for current air supply applications, but is thought to be usable to someone for their own application (perhaps not for air supply). It is sold in unknown operating condition. The buyer will be responsible for any testing, including hydrostatic. In order to reduce shipping costs to a minimum we will simply wrap this item with commercial shipping stretch wrap and ship unboxed.
