Carbon Monoxide Indicator OK ... you got yourself a new or not so new scuba diving or paintball compressor here on eBay or from the local shop. But you find that the filters cost an arm and a leg and you aren't real sure when to change them. What do you do? Install a combination carbon monoxide and moisture indicator on the outlet of the filter. While paint ball users are only interested in minimizing moisture to prevent gun damage by corrosion, this indicator will give peace of mind for scuba divers that don't want to get carbon monoxide in their breathing air as well. Waiting too long between filter changes can result in introduction of moisture into the paintball or scuba equipment which, in turn, can result in equipment damage. Changing out filters too early is just a waste of money. This indicator tells you when your filter is at 40% and then 60% (time to change) relative humidity. This is shipped with one set of indicator elements and replacements are suggested yearly. Installation is simple. Just remove the hose from the filter outlet. Install the indicator between the filter and the hose. This has a female entry and outlet so you may need to get the appropriate fittings.
