This auction is for a CD-ROM containing the complete Instruction Manual for a Scully 280, and 275 Series Professional Tape Recorders. This manual includes the following sections: Installation; Operation; Tape Transport; Electronics; Parts List; Motion Sensing, 280/SP-14; 275; Reference Drawings Warranty and supplemental Information. Also included are 13 Technical Service Information bulletins which covers updates, changes and improvements in the machine. These cover a period of several years. This CD Rom contains high-resolution scans, all are 300 dpi. None of the drawings were reduced prior to scanning ... all scans are of original, full-size drawings. (As someone who has had to repair electronics with drawings that were copies of copies that were faxed on coarse resolution to the point you couldn't tell the difference between an NPN and a PNP transistor, much less read its designation, we took extra care to make sure all drawings are sharp, clear, and legible). You can enlarge them onscreen without them falling apart. The files on the disc are in pdf format, so they may be easily printed out for convenience during servicing machines.
