This unit is used to attach a picture or photograph to a mounting board. A special dry mounting tissue is needed to place between picture and board, the tacking iron used to stabilize the tissue to the board so the combination can then be placed into the press and the top hinged part is then moved down over the board to begin the fusing process by heating. It's similar to ironing something on a garment with a regular iron used in ironing a shirt.  The useful area of the press is 17X22 inches, the press weighs 72 lbs. so it's not cheap to ship. The unit is in very good condition.  It can be shipped, however, it weighs 70 lbs. without packing materials and would be over $ 100 minimum to ship in U.S. perhaps a good deal more than $ 100.00.
