One 4,000 LB Second Chance Line Restraint strap for the mobile crane industry. Made in USA. The purpose of this device is to worn the operator and "restrain" or "catch" the line or block of a crane in the event that an operator accidentally pulls the lever of the tied back line or if the operator booms down without slacking the tied back line. Without the strap's warning, the line or other rigging may fail and whip the line and block, or simply crush a boom. This can cause injury or kill. The Second Chance Line Restraint is in use by large bridge building and foundations contractors and has stopped dangerous situations like those described.
