You are bidding on a new magnetic door lock manufactured by Securitron, model; SAM (Shear Aligning Magnalock) The factory plastic cover was in too poor of condition to state that this unit is factory sealed. The plastic cover was damaged during shipping, we received this unit in this condition from the manufacture. The unit in the photos is the unit that you will recieve. The only time that the box was opened was to photograph the contents of the box. The contents in the box are complete with the hardware still sealed in the plastic bag. The lock hardware has not been removed, they are exactly as they were when the manufacture sealed the box for shipping. I have been installing these units for quite a number of years and I have not had any problems with these unit, they are very reliable.
