Weather resistant. Sold as a lot of 100 pieces/seals in this listing. These seals, due to their rarer colors, afford even more security - as they are much harder to locate. DESCRIPTION OF THE PADLOCK SEAL: Each security seal is a "one use" seal which snaps (locks) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. NO SPECIAL TOOL is required to attach these seals - simply clip around the object to be secured and compress the seal by hand. These seals are NON-SCORED meaning the seal must be cut off or forcefully twisted off. These are high-security seals and due to the rarer color selections, afford an even higher degree of security. Each seal bares the word "SEALED" and a "SEVEN DIGIT" serial number on one side. The opposite side has a small white area - - - where the date, unit number, or other information can be written in. These seals have all the right features! Each seal measures approximately as follows: Length of plastic body is 1 1/2"; width is 3/4"; thickness is 11/64". The "shackle opening" measures approximately 1" tall (when locked) by approximately 9/16" wide (tapering down to approximately 7/8" wide). UNUSUAL FEATURES / NOTES: Each seal is different as it has its own serial number heat embossed (and painted) into its side. Each seal has a "write in" area included at no additional cost. Each seal's wire hasp is corrosion resistant galvanized wire. Unusually-colored seals add additional security as they are more difficult to locate. Each seal is made from molded Polyethylene. Each seal has a breaking strength of approximately 100 pounds due to it's heavy 18 AWG hasp. These seals are United States and United Kingdom Customs Approved! Thousands of smaller companies, businesses, and residences need security seals, but in very small or limited quantities - not wanting to purchase the minimum quantity of 5,000 or 10,000 seals that manufactures require and waiting weeks for the seals to arrive. For that reason, these seals are being sold at a reasonable price in small quantity 100-piece packaging. All of the seals in this listing have one small "write-on area" on the back of the seal.
