PLEASE NOTE: These seals are some of our lower-priced, large-shackle, padlock- style security seals in this quantitiy (we do have even lower prices but in larger quantities). DESCRIPTION OF THE LARGE-SHACKLE PADLOCK SEAL: Each padlock security seal is a "one use" seal which snaps (locks) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. NO SPECIAL TOOL is required to attach these seals - simply clip around the object to be secured and compress the seal by hand. These seals are NON-SCORED meaning the seal must be cut off -or- forcefully twisted off. Each large-shackle, industrial-grade, gray padlock-style security seal is heat and paint embossed with "L.G.I." (i.e "Latch Guard Indicator") and a SIX-digit serial number. The opposite side of the seal is blank. Please see the listing's high-resolution photographs. DIMENSIONS: Each seal measures as follows: Length of plastic body is 1.49"; width is 0.75; overall thickness is 0.17". The "shackle opening" measures approximately 1.5 tall (prior to compressing / locking) by 0.83" at its widest point. Twenty-five seals weigh approximately 3.0 ounces (87.5grams) making these seals both rugged and light-weight. UNUSUAL FEATURES / NOTES: Each seal is different as it has its own unique six-digit serial number heat embossed (and painted) into its side. Each seal's wire shackle is corrosion resistant galvanized wire. We believe these particular seals are made from molded Polyethylene. Each seal has a breaking strength of approximately 100-pounds due to it's heavy wire shackle. These seals were manufactured in the United States by a very large plastics corporation. When their excess inventory was liquidated, we were there to buy in bulk! Thousands of smaller companies, businesses, and residences need security seals, but in very small or limited quantities - not wanting to purchase the minimum quantity of 1,000 or 5,000 or 10,000 seals that manufacturers require and then wait weeks for the seals to arrive. For that reason, these seals are being sold at a reasonable price, in small quantity packaging.
