DESCRIPTION OF THE "RATCHETING TAIL" SEAL: Each security seal is a "one use" seal which zips (tightens) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. Specially designed to allow easy attachment (raised dimples across the seal's flag) -and- serrated for easy removal (can be torn off by hand), [please see one of the listing's photographs to see these special features]. Quick and easy to use - no tools required to attach or remove. Upon insertion, the seal's teeth anchor into the tail's notches - permanently interlocking the seal so that its tail can't be withdrawn. Medium strength plastic - unaffected by normal atmospheric conditions. Each seal measures approximately as follows: The seal's flag (with it's 7-digit serial number) measures approximately 0.58" wide by 2.15" long (roughly 1/2 " x 2"). The seal's tail is approximately 4" long (with a 2.85" tightening length). The seal measures 6.25" from end-to-end. Available in RED with Black Serial Numbers -or- WHITE with Black Serial Numbers.
