High precision -  BS5317 Grade 2 - metric 100 mm round length bar (gage block, gauge block, slip gauge ?) with threads on both ends. Made by Select Works in UK.  According to Grade 2 it suppose to have less or equal 0.25um flatness, 0.35um parallelism and +1.40/-0.60 um length errors. Serial number is likely traceable. Maybe it can be used for CNC / CMM calibration, as extension for Renishaw or other CMM probe heads or with Renishaw calibration ballbars. Used, stored in in original wooden box wrapped with anti-rust paper, but has small rust dots over the side surface. The working surfaces have no rust, but some coloration and some wear spots (see pictures).
