Weather resistant. Sold as 100 pieces / seals in this listing. These seals are manufactured of the highest quality materials. DESCRIPTION OF THE PADLOCK SEAL: Each padlock security seal is a "one use" seal which snaps (locks) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. NO SPECIAL TOOL is required to attach these seals - simply clip around the object to be secured and compress the seal by hand. You're done just that fast. These seals are NON-SCORED meaning the seal must be cut off -or- forcefully twisted off. Each seal bares a "SEVEN DIGIT" serial number (in YELLOW) -and- a small write-on area (in WHITE) on one side. Each seal bares the inscription 'SEALED SELF STORAGE" (in YELLOW) on the opposite side . ALL THE RIGHT FEATURES FOR SELF STORAGE: Seven-digit serial number; white "write on" area (to write in date / unit number / auction date / person's initials); must be cut off or forcefully removed; large shackle easily accommodates most hasps / door slides; small diameter galvanized steel wire (allows shackle to easily pass through tight spaces - even with the tenant's padlock still in place); "quite" dark-blue color so tags aren't easily noticed by existing tenants (no storage facility wants to look like it has too many vacant units). DIMENSIONS: Each seal measures as follows: Length of plastic body is 1.49"; width is 0.75; overall thickness is 0.17". The "shackle opening" measures approximately 1.5 tall (prior to compressing / locking) by 0.83" at its widest point. 100 seals weigh approximately 12 ounces (350 grams) making these seals both rugged and light-weight. UNUSUAL FEATURES / NOTES: Each seal is different - as it has its own unique YELLOW seven-digit serial number heat embossed (and painted) into its side. Each seal's wire shackle is corrosion-resistant galvanized wire. These particular seals are made from molded Polyethylene. Each seal has a breaking strength of approximately 100 pounds due to it's heavy wire shackle. These seals are manufactured, imprinted and embossed in the United States. Thousands of smaller self-storage companies need security seals, but in small or limited quantities - not wanting to purchase the minimum quantity of 1,000 or 5,000 or 10,000 seals that manufacturers require and then having to wait weeks for their seals to arrive.
