SENSITIVE RESEARCH MODEL: SCAMA SCALE DRAWING MACHINE WITH INSTRUCTION MANUAL The Sensitive Research Scale Drawing Machine " is a duplicate of those used in the laboratory for the past 31 years, and is capable of drawing precision scales to all the accuracy that the resolution of an instrument scale will permit" The machine is essentially a heavy brass quadrant rotating on precision ball bearings which are set into a heavy dimensionally-stable linen bakelite base. The quadrant is driven by an anti-backlash friction drive which may be engaged or disengaged at will. No date on the machine or in the manual. Age unknown. The only flaw is a broken alignment wire on the index head. Other than that it is in excellent condition.
