This 9cm qualitative filter paper is a new and upgraded product that can be shipped via 2-Day Air for an additional $1.99 fee. It comes in a pack of 100 circles, with each circle measuring 9cm in diameter. Made of Alpha Cotton Cellulose, this filter paper has a slow flow rate and a low ash content of approximately 0.15%, similar to Whatman's GE 5 filter paper. Unlike quantitative filters, which are concerned with what is left on the filter, qualitative filters are used to both collect a precipitate or solid and remove unwanted substances from the filtrate that passes through the filter. The filters are unused and sold in packs. The manufacturer, Scientific Equipment of Houston, has a 14-day return policy for items returned with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items returned in their original, unopened retail packaging with a detailed description of the problem will be accepted. Note that return shipping fees are non-refundable and your return may be declined if the return policy guidelines are not followed.
