Serrote Notebook – Beach Dimensions: 17cm x 11,5 cm (6,7 in x 4,5 in) Cover: white paper 250gr/m2 Bookblock:white paper 80gr/m2; 80 pages; pattern printed in offset  Limited edition: 1500 numbered copies. This is the twenty-first notebook made by Serrote. For those tired of winter and looking forward the summer arrival. If you like picking shells, building sand castles, changing clothes in a striped beach canopy, and taking naps in the shadow of a beach umbrella, this notebook is for you. The cover was printed in letterpress in two colors and the inside pattern was printed in offset. Under the name Serrote, Lisbon based couple and graphic designers Nuno Neves and Susana Vilela publish these limited edition letterpress notebooks using vintage Heidelberg Windmill presses. The designs themselves are somehow both modern and nostalgic, cleverly referencing elements of popular Portuguese culture such as restaurant tablecloths or striped beach cabanas. 40 double sided pages per notebook.
